Forget The 'Squad.' Meet The 'Cell' Plotting To Help Democrats Take Back the House.

While most Americans were preparing to celebrate our country's 250th birthday with epic displays of patriotism, Democratic primary voters nominated an array of extreme left-wing candidates who openly despise the United States and everything it stands for.

In New York, professional activists Claire Valdez and Darializa Avila Chevalier defeated establishment-backed candidates with the help of Zohran Mamdani, the anti-American mayor of New York City. Barring some improbable setback, they will be sworn in as members of Congress next year alongside Melat Kiros, the 29-year-old Ph.D. student who defeated a 15-term incumbent congresswoman in Colorado.

It's safe to assume this trio of future House members will be fast-tracked for membership in the "Squad," the cabal of radical lawmakers led by Reps. Ilhan Omar (D., Minn.), Rashida Tlaib (D., Mich.), and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D., N.Y.).

Or is it?

Kiros, Valdez, and Chevalier—all of whom were backed by Hasan Piker, the U.S.-based anti-American influencer who supports terrorism and said the United States "deserved" 9/11—may very well regard the Squad as fair-weather communists insufficiently devoted to the cause of anti-colonial revolution.

Omar, Tlaib, and Ocasio-Cortez hate America and Israel, obviously, but they are relatively prudish by comparison to this new generation of left-wing lunatics. It wouldn't surprise us if they shunned the "normie" Squad radicals in favor of starting their own special club. They could call it the "Cell," or even the "Martyrs Brigade."

Kiros, a former corporate lawyer who was fired for denouncing the corporate law profession for refusing to embrace Hamas, recently described the Sept. 11 and Oct. 7 terrorist attacks as the "inevitable" result of colonial aggression. She couldn't even bring herself to describe Mohamed Sabry Soliman as "antisemitic." Soliman is the Egyptian illegal immigrant who firebombed a group of Jews in Boulder, Colo., who were marching in support of the Israeli hostages in Gaza.

"I don't know what was in the heart of the perpetrator," Kiros said, nonsensically.

Valdez is an art school graduate and union activist who worked at Columbia University, so her hatred of America and support for terrorism is a given. She appeared with Piker on the campaign trail. The same goes for Chevalier, who studied Middle Eastern studies at Columbia, where she joined an activist group dedicated to the "total eradication of Western civilization."

Both New York Democrats were endorsed by Mayor Mamdani's wife, Rama Duwaji, who has a history of "liking" pro-Hamas content on social media. Duwaji, who contributed artwork to an essay collection compiled by a virulent antisemite who has called for Israel to be "wiped off the map," declined to support Brad Lander, an anti-Israel Jewish candidate backed by her husband.

Chevalier has bragged about using the American flag as a napkin. On Oct. 8, 2023, the day after more than a thousand Jews were killed or taken hostage, she attended an "All Out for Palestine" rally in Times Square to support Hamas. Chevalier was endorsed by former congressman and Squad member Jamaal Bowman, who wrote an angsty poem suggesting Osama bin Laden was framed for 9/11. She recently confirmed that she was dating Ramzi Kassem, the Mamdani legal adviser best known for defending al Qaeda terrorists.

That's an impressive resume—if you care about dismantling capitalism, turning Congress into an Ivy League faculty lounge, and promoting terrorism at home and abroad. The Squad may try to recruit her, but Chevalier and her fellow firebrands should not feel pressured into accepting a supporting role on the JV martyrs brigade.

It's only a matter of time before Omar, Tlaib, AOC, and other Hashtag Hamasniks are begging to join The Cell.

Happy Birthday, America!
