Dozens of seats were left empty at a Democratic rally shortly before Hillary Clinton was set to speak on Thursday.
While Sen. Barbara Mikulski (D., Md.) spoke, the news camera provided multiple shots of the empty seats in University of Maryland’s Ritchie Coliseum, which has a capacity of 1,500.
The rally was hosted at the University of Maryland in College Park, Md., to garner support for Democratic gubernatorial candidate Lt. Gov. Anthony Brown.
