President Donald Trump tweeted his endorsement of Rep. Claudia Tenney (R., N.Y.) on Monday.
"I need @claudiatenney of #NY22 to be re-elected in order to get our big plans moving. Her opponent would be a disaster. Nobody works harder than Claudia, and she is a producer. I look forward to working together with her - she has my Strongest Endorsement! Vote Claudia!" Trump wrote in a tweet.

Tenney touted Trump's endorsement in a statement.
"President Trump has been a great partner for keeping the promises I made to the people of central New York during the 2016 campaign, especially to the forgotten men and women of our region who haven’t had a voice in Washington in a long time," Tenney said. "Together, we’ve cut taxes, reduced regulations and taken on bad trade deals, and as a result, the economy is booming. I look forward to continuing working with President Trump to keep our economy strong, our nation safe, and our future bright."
RealClearPolitics rates Tenney's race against Democratic nominee Anthony Brindisi as a "toss-up." Trump won the district by over 15 points in 2016.
Donald Trump Jr. is scheduled to make a campaign stop for Tenney on Monday night in Rome, New York.
