Appearing on Morning Joe Wednesday morning, Tom Brokaw described the British SAS as "the best special forces in the world."
Brokaw was on the show discussing Richard Engel's captivity by Syrian forces and his subsequent escape.
Former British special forces members acted as the security detail for Engel and his production crew while they were in Syria.
