Obama campaign spokesman Ben LaBolt had no response for the president's economic record, in a Wednesday interview with CNBC:

CARL QUINTANILLA: Ben, I mean, a lot of their rhetoric, I’m sure you would agree, stems from frustration over a GDP that gets revised to 1.7 percent, to jobless claims that aren’t improving much at all, to aside from a housing market that’s doing okay, an economy that’s sputtering along. I mean, when does the president start answering for that?
