Illinois Gov. Pat Quinn botched a popular campaign line at a Democratic rally Wednesday in Springfield, Ill., announcing that President Obama is "dead and the American auto industry is alive and well."
GOV. PAT QUINN: And we have a president who understands that; he’s our commander-in-chief and he takes good care of the troops. I think everybody knows that Obama…he’s gone, he’s dead, and the American auto industry is alive and well, thanks to our president. I think it’s very important that in Illinois that we understand—Osama bin Laden. Okay. I goofed that one up.
