Hustler's Larry Flynt Tried to Max Out to Hillary Clinton But Was Turned Down

Famed porn mogul Larry Flynt contributed the maximum allowed dollar amount to Hillary Clinton's presidential campaign but had his $5,400 returned by the campaign, according to Federal Election Commission documents filed Wednesday night.

Flynt, who grew famous through Hustler magazine, made two contributions worth $2,700 to the Clinton campaign during the month of June. Later in the month, both contributions were returned.

Flynt had voiced his support for Clinton's candidacy earlier this year, telling Bloomberg’s John Heileman emphatically that he was "endorsing Hillary Clinton for president!"

Flynt also said in the interview that he didn't think Clinton needed his help, admitting that Clinton will likely want to keep her distance due to his controversial business.

"Hillary doesn’t need no help from me," Flynt said. "All she needs to do is start fighting back."

The Clinton campaign agreed.
