Hamptons Favor Obama

President Obama’s reelection team has raised 38.6 percent more money from the Hamptons than the Romney campaign, according to Tim Carney at the Washington Examiner:

According to data from the Center for Responsive Politics, Romney has reported $119,550 from the 13 zip codes that count as The Hamptons according to Wikipedia. Obama has raised $165,867.

Carney adds:

Sagaponack (11962) was named by Business Week "The most expensive small town in America." The median home there sells for $4.4 million. That means that half the homes there are worth more. ... It favored Obama $12,700 to $0.
