House Democrats raised more money in August than their Republican counterparts, marking the fourth month in a row they have raised more funds.
The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) raised over $6 million in August while the Republican Congressional Committee (RCCC) only raised $3.8 million, according to the Washington Times.
Although Democrats have outraised the House Republicans from May to August of this year, the GOP does have more available cash on hand at $36.3 million compared to the Democrat’s $24.8 million.
In terms of 2017 annual totals to date, the DCCC has raised $72.4 million, and House Republicans, $67.7 million.
