Senator Ben Cardin (D., Md.) has serious questions for former Republican Senator Chuck Hagel who has been recently tapped to replace Leon Panetta for Secretary of Defense.
Hagel has been embroiled in a variety of charges by Republicans and Democrats alike on stance to negotiate with Iran and Hamas, both noted opponents of Israel. Hagel has also been labeled as anti-Gay because of offensive comments toward an ambassador nominee.
