49ers Coach on Obama's Football Concern: If He Feels That Way, Less Competition for My Son

San Francisco 49ers Coach Jim Harbaugh poked fun at President Obama's concern for concussions in football at a press conference today as reported by NFL.com.

When asked on his thoughts of Obama's stance on the recent studies that have connected concussions with football, the second-year coach was as competitive as ever:

"If President Obama feels that way, then there will be a little less competition for Jack Harbaugh when he gets older.  That's the first thing that jumps into my mind, if other parents are thinking that way."

Obama provided an interview to his former staffer that was published this weekend on the recently relaunched "The New Republic".  The president touched on football concussions and gun control.
