$400,000 Taxpayer Dollars Spent On ‘Magic Underwear’

WKEF reports the federal government has allocated over $400,000 in taxpayer dollars to develop smoke-detecting underwear in an attempt to reduce cigarette smoking. The so-called ‘magic underwear’ did not go over well with local taxpayers and the leader of the study described the prototype underwear as "not very user friendly."
