Nikki Haley 'Refused' to Comment on a Story about North Korea. Then Trump Tweeted About It...

President Donald Trump on Tuesday morning retweeted a news report on North Korea that U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley refused to comment on because she said it contains "classified" information.

Trump retweeted a Fox News story that reported U.S. spy agencies detected via satellite the North Korean regime loading two anti-ship cruise missiles on a patrol boat on the country's east coast. These missiles have not been on this type of craft since 2014.

The movement of military equipment may be a signal that Pyongyang plans to conduct more missile tests in the near future, according to the report.

Hours after the report was published, Haley appeared on "Fox & Friends" to discuss new U.N. sanctions imposed on North Korea. When asked by co-host Steve Doocy about the story, Haley refused to comment on it.

"I can't. I can't talk about anything that's classified, and if that's in the newspaper, that's a shame," Haley said. "I have no reason to comment on that."

Haley made her comments the same morning that Trump retweeted the article from the "Fox & Friends" Twitter account.

Trump has the authority as president to declassify intelligence, but there is so far no indication that he has done so in this instance.
