President Obama on Friday sought to conscript teenagers and their parents for his student loan propaganda campaign, according a White House pool report documenting his speech to a crowd of high school students in Northern Virginia.

Ever the social media champion, President Obama encouraged the students to tell lawmakers how they feel.

"Tweet them," he said. "Teach your parents how to tweet. And use the hashtag #DontDoubleMyRate."
