Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto said Friday that infamous drug lord Joaquin "El Chapo" Guzman has been caught.
Nieto made the announcement on Twitter.
"Mission accomplished: we have it. I want to inform the Mexican Joaquin Guzman Loera has been arrested," Nieto tweeted Friday in Spanish.
Guzman escaped from a maximum security penitentiary in Mexico last July. He previously escaped from prison in 2001.
