House Majority Whip Kevin McCarthy (R., Calif.) joined another voices around Washington who slammed President Obama's long-awaited budget Wednesday, saying it "never fixes the problem" and failed to reduce the deficit while appearing on "Hannity."
"It's a lot of smoke and mirrors because it never balances," he said. "He's missed every deadline. No budget that he's ever produced has even got one vote from a Republican nor a Democrat ... That's the sad part about it now, and that's why we're in this fiscal mess to start out with."
