As the Senate Prepared to Vote on Health Care Bill, Protesters Began Screaming: "Don't Kill Us..."

Protesters chanted "kill the bill," "don't kill us," and "shame" from the gallery at U.S. senators on Tuesday before they held a vote on moving forward debate on a bill to repeal the Affordable Care Act, also known as Obamacare.

The protesters interrupted the proceedings before the calling of the roll for nearly two minutes.

If the vote to proceed passes, the Senate will then move on to debate a variety of approaches to removing Obamacare, NBC reports, although a full repeal of the law appears unlikely to have the support necessary for passage.
