King Peggy Wants to Run for GOP Nomination

King Peggy said she would like to run for the GOP nomination Tuesday on "Morning Joe." Peggy is Peggielene Bartels, a Washington, D.C. secretary -- who's also the king of Otuam, Ghana.

MORNING JOE: Peggy, with your personality, if you're a Republican, could you come back and run for president?

KING PEGGY: I would like to. I would love it. I would, I would.

Bartel's uncle had been the king of the Ghana village and, after his death, she was chosen as his successor by villagers there three and a half years ago. Bartels wrote a book about the experience, King Peggy.
