Sen. John Kennedy (R., La.) called out Biden cabinet nominee to Neera Tanden on Wednesday for her long history of personal attacks against political rivals such as Sen. Bernie Sanders.
"The comments were personal," Kennedy said to Biden's pick to lead the Office of Management and Budget. "I mean, you've called Senator Sanders everything but an ignorant slut."
Kennedy stated for the record at the end of his remarks that he does not believe Sanders is an "ignorant slut."
