Obamacare Exchanges Experiencing 'Meltdowns'

NWCN-WA reports that the website where customers can access information about Obamacare is experiencing severe glitches and slowdowns, in particular in Oregon and Washington.

The Oregon State Run Health Exchange, called "Cover Oregon" was set to go online this morning, but officials say that the website "is not correctly determining eligibility for tax credits."

While customers can begin the sign-up process, they will not be able to actually enroll in Obamacare until later this month. That delay was announced in August.

Also experiencing difficulties is the Washington Health Exchange. Portions of the website have crashed. Some problems were expected by the CEO of Washington’s Health Exchange, and the CEO still has high hopes for the program.
