God and Miller High LIfe Key to Longevity, 110 Year Old Woman Says

A New Jersey woman who turned 110 on Saturday said she believes the grace of God and Frederick Miller have kept her going all these years.

"When I was 100 years old, I went to the mirror to thank God that I was still here. And I thank him every morning," Agnes Fenton told The Record.

"He gave me a long life and a good life, and I have nothing to complain about. You’ve got to have God in your life. Without God, you’ve got nothing."

In addition to praising God, Fenton praised Miller High Life. After a doctor told her the beer would help with a benign tumor she developed decades ago, she began to drink the beer religiously. "He said, ‘Agnes, you must drink three Miller High Lifes a day,’" Fenton told ABC News.

For nearly 70 years, she's done just that and she added a shot of Johnnie Walker to boot.

Fenton's recently cut off Agnes's alcohol supply, but she said was confident she'd at least get a taste on her birthday. When asked if the nurses would give her some Walker on her birthday, she told The Record "they better."
