Morocco and Spain to Bolster Ceuta Border Security after July Incidents

At the end of July, dramatic incidents occurred at the Morocco‑Ceuta border, prompting both Morocco and Spain to announce measures aimed at preventing any new large‑scale attempts to cross into the Spanish enclave. The two governments said they will reinforce security by deploying additional forces, installing barbed wire and operating patrol boats along the frontier.
